The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Kuala Lumpur, celebrates the National Sport Day in the presence of His Excellency Fahad bin Mohammed Kafoud, Ambassador and participation the of more than 300 guest of diplomats and embassy members.

In addition, to the presence of His Excellency Mr. Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah, Deputy Director of Protocol Department at the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a number of foreign ministry staff and ambassadors of the countries accredited to Kuala Lumpur, as well as a large number of diplomats from Arab and foreign embassies and Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

The activities included futsal and badminton sport exercises and activities aimed to draw attention to the importance of sport and its role in the lives of individuals and communities, which was held in the sport centre in Kuala Lumpur.

Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Malaysia, His Excellency Fahad bin Mohammed Kafoud, addressed  the importance of celebrating the National Sports Day to make sport a way of life, stressing that the State of Qatar attaches great importance to sport as means of communication among peoples, and that the National Sports Day enhances Qatar National Vision 2030, describing sport relations between the State of Qatar and Malaysia. 

Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Malaysia, His Excellency Fahad bin Mohammed Kafoud, would like to take the opportunity to thank all participants for making the Qatar National Sport Day a success.
