Embassy of the State of Qatar in Kuala Lumpur held a Celebration Reception on the Occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar at the JW Marriott Hotel - Kuala Lumpur.

The reception was attended by a Malaysian Government Representative Hon. Dato Sri Dr. DZulkefly Ahmad, Minister of Health, in addition to a number of senior managers and staff of the Malaysian Foreign Ministry and the office of His Excellency the Prime Minister of Malaysia and the Malaysian Parliament. The Honorable Dato Sri Khairuddin Samad, the President of the Malaysian Senate, HE Tan Sri Dato Sri, Syed Hamid Bin Sayed Albar, the former Malaysian Foreign Minister, former OIC Envoy to Myanmar, and a number of representatives of various ministries and government institutions, as well as media personalities, Arab and foreign academics and segment representing the entire spectrum of Malaysian society and the number of Arab communities located in Malaysia, and the reception was attended by a large number of ambassadors and members of diplomatic missions accredited in Kuala Lumpur.
