The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Kuala Lumpur, celebrates the National Sport Day in the presence of His Excellency Essa Mohamed Al-Mannai, Ambassador designated to Malaysia, Mr. Mansoor Al-Hajri, Embassy’s Second Secretary, and participation the of more than 400 guest of diplomats and embassy members.
In addition, to the presence of Dato' Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah, Undersecretary of West Asia - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dato' Mohd Ashri Muda, Chief of Protocol - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Azfar Mohamad Mustafar, Director General, Department of Maritime Affairs - Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a number of ambassadors accredited countries in Kuala Lumpur, as well as a large number of diplomats from Arab and foreign embassies, and the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of youth and Sports, and the Kuala Lumpur international Airport.
The activities included futsal and badminton sport exercises and activities aimed to draw attention to the importance of sport and its role in the lives of individuals and communities, which was held in the sport centre in Kuala Lumpur.
Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Malaysia, His Excellency Essa Mohamed Al-Mannai, emphasises the importance of celebrating the National Sports Day to make sport a way of life, stressing that the State of Qatar attaches great importance to sport as means of communication among peoples, and that the National Sports Day enhances Qatar National Vision 2030, describing sport relations between the State of Qatar and Malaysia.
